Oxford Workshop

We at The Voice Festival are very excited to announce that our Oxford workshop of the season will be led by Jes Sandler, the vocal percussionist, singer and educator. For a full biography, please click here.

Jes will lead a workshop from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Saturday 28th February 2009. The venue is the Oakeshott room at Lincoln College, Turl Street, Oxford, OX1 3DR

The workshop is open to everyone and we positively encourage you join us no matter what your age. Similar events we have run in the past have been successful at bringing together singers of all ages to explore their voices together.

Tickets are just £10 for adults and £7 for concessions and include the following:

1:30pm - 3:30pm Two hour workshop as described above which you will take part in and explore your own voice.
4:00pm - 5:00pm Ticket to watch Jes working with each of the a cappella groups featuring in the evening competition. You will see each of the groups work with Jes in a 15 minute session on one of their songs, offering you a chance to see a sneak preview of the evening's entertainment, while picking up some expert tips.

There will then be plenty of time to find some food and take a break before the evening concert at 6:30pm (for which you will need to buy a ticket separately).

Tickets can be purchased here, but please note that all tickets are subject to the same terms and conditions found on our tickets page, most noticeably that all tickets purchased are non-refundable.
